A regular inspection of the rented property, ideally every 3 to 6 months, may be vital to landlords who are either unable or unwilling to do this themselves. A personal visit is often the only opportunity to assess how the property is being occupied. If the rented property is not being managed by the letting agent, mid term inspections may not be offered as a service by the letting agent. Instructing an independent inventory company also ensures that the landlord keeps a professional distance and will be provided with an objective mid term report.
Whilst these reports do not constitute a structural survey or inventory check they do form the basis for assessing and highlighting any problems with the property.
All parties will receive a copy of this report on completion of the assignment unless otherwise agreed by email. Bound hard copies are available on request and will be sent by post. *
All copies of documentation and digital photographs are retained by Crystal Inventories for five years.
